People responsible for the various cultural programs

These are the people responsible for the various cultural programs. The entire responsibility for starting the respective programs on time and providing all support and help to the people participating lies on the people mentioned below. These people would act as the one-point contacts for all these programs.

Wednesday, 23rd Sep, 2009, Sree Panchami.
  • 7:00 pm - Ved-Gaan (B P Roy)
  • 9:00 pm - A Musical by "Shrishti" (Sudipto)

Thursday, 24th Sep, 2009, Maha Shashti.

  • 7:00 pm - Song-n-Dance by Sarathi Dance Troupe (Ujjoini)
  • 9:00 pm - Inauguration (Shyamal Sen & Aloke Basu)
  • 10:00 pm - Beats-n-Melody, a musical performance packed with some of the best foot-tapping songs (Arnob Roy)

Friday, 25th Sep, 2009, Maha Saptami.

      • 11:00 am - Kids' Drawing Competition (Ujjoini)
  • 7:00 pm - "Maatir Gaan", a program of Bengali folk and classical songs (Barnali)
  • 7:30 pm - Rockin-Kids will perform for the first time to enthrall the audience with their musical talents (Poulami)
  • 8:00 pm - Kohal will present a repository of a wide variety of memorable songs of all times and genres along with a tribute to Hemanta Mukhopadhyaya (Sudipto)
  • 9:30 pm - "O Hamsini", a must for all RD-Kishore fans - a mesmerizing collection of some of the most endearing songs presented by Puneet Joshi (Sudipto)
  • 11:00 pm - Jatra (Braja Das)

Saturday, 26th Sep, 2009, Maha Ashtami.

11:00 am - Boogie Woogie (Sankalita)

1:00 pm - Antakshari (Anandaroop)

3:00 pm - Band Saransh (Sudipto)

7:00 pm - "Sarathi Choir" performs their characteristic collection of Bengali songs (Barnali)

9:00 pm - "World of Salil-da" - presented by none other than Antara Chowdhury (Saikat)

Sunday, 27th Sep, 2009, Maha Navami.

11:00 am - Kids' Recitation & Debate (Braja Das)

1:00 pm - Band Competition (Sudipto)

3:00 pm - Band OM (Sudipto)

7:00 pm - Rabindrasangeet (Anuradha)

8:00 pm - An enchanting evening with Lopamudra (Saikat)
